December 2004

Tis the season. FOR RAIN!!! Wow, the past couple weeks have been cold and rainy. But you always have to look for the "silver lining", THE CHARGERS ARE WINNING!!!! It could be worse, we could be living in Buffalo.

On behalf of the entire club, Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday’s.

Enclosed with this newsletter is an open letter to the club from Harley. Let me also say, Serge, I’ve only been with the club four years, but it’s been a hell of a ride. Looking forward to another four years of rattling your cage!! Thanks.

The December tournament will be Saturday December 18th and is always the BIGGEST tourney of the year. This year we will draw THREE tickets, each worth $150.00 each!! You must be present to win and have participated in the tournament.

We will be playing a 2 man, best ball, draw for partners format.

An "A" player will be matched up with a "B" player using full handicaps.

Skins will not be paid. 2 closest to the pin will be paid.

The top 3 teams only will be paid.

We would like to ask everyone to show up early for this so that we can make up the teams.

I would like to take this time to announce that the September 2005 newsletter will be my last. Because of my business I am traveling more and more and my spare time is becoming increasingly limited. Next September I will have served the club as editor of the newsletter for 3 * years. If anyone would like to step up and take over the reins of putting together this newsletter, please let me know. I will do all I can to make the transition smooth and easy. It's been a pleasure.

 HAPPY HOLIDAYS !!

A letter from the pres:

The first thing that I would like to do is to recognize Serge for all the thankless effort he has put into this club over the years. This club wouldn't be where it is today without his hard work and I am sure that I speak for everyone when I say THANK YOU Serge.

Secondly I would like to encourage ALL the members of this club to get more involved. This is your club and if there is something that you think can be done better I want to hear from you.
(no bitching please)

Third and most important is the matter of yearly dues.

You must have your $50 paid to Charlie by December 15th!

This club is for our enjoyment and we will only get back as much as we put into it.

Happy Holidays,
Harley
