Summer is here. Time to get out and enjoy this wonderful weather and have a great time playing golf. We have had great turnouts for club play for the past couple months. Let's keep it up through the summer. The more guys playing, the bigger the pots and the better the competition.

In this month's newsletter there is a flyer promoting the “Fiesta Golf Cruise” set for October 1, 2005. With golf in Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta, it's sure to be a trip long remembered. So far we have six members who have reserved their cabins. In total, I have already sold over 40 cabins on the cruise. The week of June 7 th I will be mailing flyers to all the golf clubs in San Diego county inviting them to join us on the cruise. The space for this cruise is sure to be gone quickly, so be sure to hold your cabin today.

The June Tournament will be on Saturday the 19th and it will be a blind draw for foursomes and we will play individual low net. No skins will be paid for this tournament. To give this month's tournament a twist, we will award the longest and the shortest drives of the day. Gene will fill us in on Saturday. Of course proximity winners and the drawing will be paid.
