Hey guys, my computer is back on track. Sorry about the abbreviated newsletter last month. Don't fret, this months newsletter will be chuck full of information!!

First off. Bob Oswald had surgery this month. Word is he is doing pretty good for a tough old guy.

Bob: From the entire club membership - We can't wait till your back to 100% and kicking our butts on the course. Our thoughts and prayers are with you for a speedy recovery. But just remember, while your out, your giving other club members a chance to win the drawings. Come back soon Bob, We miss you!!

Winners of the February "Spring String Fling" tournament were: 1 st Place: Gene Jaeger - 58. 2 nd Place: Stash Beltrano - 59. 3 rd Place: Jim Dunlap - 61. 4 th Place: Wally Wilson - 61. Closest to the pin: Bryce Hodgson and Keith Carter. $25.00 Drawing went to, YOU GUESSED IT - Bob Oswald.

The March tournament on the 20 th will be a golf contest within a golf tournament. It's a variation on the SHOOTOUT. We will end with a ten-man nine hole net play shootout. The selection of the players will be selected by taking the LOW GROSS and LOW NET from each foursome in 18-hole play. If the low gross is also low net, then the second low net will be chosen. The foursomes will be selected by BLIND DRAW before the start of the round. In the event that we have more than five foursomes, the five low gross scores and the five low net scores will be selected as the shootout participants. If we have less than five foursomes, the reverse will apply and the winners of each foursome will automatically be in the shootout and the remaining will be selected from the low net scores. In the event the last foursome turns out to be a threesome, then low net AND low gross will apply. Gene will be on hand early to answer any questions. It should be a lot of fun.
