January 2005
HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Here’s to
another year of great golf at Oaks North and the other fine J.C. courses around
the county. With the addition of Mt. Woodson and the new Arrowhead course
opening soon, our golf options are growing every year. You should have seen me,
Harley, Charlie and his wife Chris golfing at Mt. Woodson on New Year’s Eve
with the rain BLOWING sideways. We’ve decided not to reveal our scores. (Chris
beat Charlie and Bob)
Thanks to Harley, the Fiesta Golf Club has hit the big time. We have our
own website. Check it out at www.fiestagolfclub.com
. You have access to all your club officers, newsletters, photos, jokes and
soon your scores and handicaps. Please e-mail me ( bpavon@cox.net
) AND Harley your e-mail address so we can keep you informed of the latest news
and info.
Hey, Rich Kohler, get that shoulder better!! We are looking forward to
taking your money when you return. By the time you receive this newsletter you
should have already received the golf info for the Fiesta Golf Cruise. As you
can see, we are playing "The Top Courses" in every port we are
visiting. Please make sure you get your order form in EARLY because I only have
tee-times for 64 players and I have over 75 golfers signed up for the cruise. I
want to make sure FIESTA members and their family and friends are confirmed for
golf.
Winners of the December tournament were:
1st Place: Gary Carmichael and Mac McLemore
2nd Place: Terry Boyll and John Wayman
3rd Place: Jim Sexson and Gary Carmichael

The year end drawing winners for 2004 each receiving $150 each were Frank
