It was a great day of golf at one of JC’s most challenging courses.

The June tournament will be the Fiesta String Fling and will be held on Saturday, the 18th. Each member will be given one foot of string for every handicap stroke. You can use your string to get out of a trap, relief from behind a tree, not having to putt etc. Low gross wins and in case of a tie, the person with the most string left at the end of the round breaks the tie.

(Please do not leave string on the course. Put it in the trash at the next tee-box and don’t forget to bring your Swiss Army Knife to cut your string.)

Thanks to all the members who have been showing up each week in and week out. We have been averaging 20 guys each week and more on tournament days. It makes for a competitive and enjoyable round. We now have 47 members in the club which is the most we have had in many years. This club is YOUR club and your support is greatly appreciated.

See you on the next tee and remember, a bad day of golf is still better than a good day at work, any day.
